I am doing this free online course with a friend, Mike Hauser, producer of www.betterbadnews.com, who lives in Berkeley. Just an FYI. If you're interested in following along and working the exercises with me, just let me know.

Update - The course is looking good. One member from Codetown is also doing the course. We can all collaborate here: ask questions, share tips, etc. Just let us know where you are in the course and what assignment you're working on, etc...

I just watched the first lecture. It's the quality you'd expect from Stanford. Now, to get the environment set up....

Hi Michael,
I completed the April 2009 CS193P course. I did not skip any of the lectures and completed all of the assignments. I would highly recommend this FREE online course to anyone interested in iPhone development. After completing the course, I tweeted Evan Doll and had an interesting conversation with him.

FYI,
They are now in the process of teaching the Winter Term of CS193P and are publishing the courses on iTunes.

Take Care,
Kevin
Definitely. I will download the first lecture and try and view it this week. I am curious to see if it differs from the April Course. If you get a chance, check out some of the guest speakers from CS193P April 2009. There are some really cool guest speakers.
Thanks,
Kevin
